We hereby inform you about our use of telemedia in accordance with [§ 15 Para. 1] of the German Telemedia Law [TMG] concerning the use of Facebook plug-ins, operated by Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA.
The attribution of your visit to our website is performed by Facebook using various means:
If you are not a Facebook user:
When visiting a site with the “like” button, a cookie is automatically transmitted to your browser by the “like button” script prescribed to us by Facebook. The installation of this cookie and the data it contains enables Facebook to generate a profile of the user’s Web browsing habits, even for non-Facebook users.
You have a Facebook account, but are not currently logged in:
The “like” button script prescribed by Facebook immediately recognizes that you have a Facebook account and stores the information that you have visited this page, whether or not you press the “like” button. Whether this information is later transmitted to and used by Facebook when you log in is not entirely clear, but seems probable. In other words, Facebook knows where you have surfed, even if you do not click the “like” button.
You have a Facebook account, and are currently logged in:
If you are logged into your Facebook account, using this button will exchange data with Facebook as soon as you visit our site. By clicking on the Facebook button, data is transmitted to Facebook. This data includes your URL and additional specific data with which Facebook can connect your visit to our website to your Facebook account.
Facebook uses the data it collects to share with its partners for their further use. As proprietor, we have no detailed knowledge of the contents of the data transmitted. You can find Facebook’s data protection policy here: http://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php.
