Barracuda IM Firewall and Barracuda Spam Firewall Wins SC Magazine Awards

At the 2008 SC Magazine Awards Gala held in San Francisco, Barracuda Networks accepted two awards for the Barracuda IM Firewall and Barracuda Spam Firewall.

Voted on by SC Magazine readers for what they felt was the most effective at addressing their day-to-day problems, the Barracuda IM Firewall won the ‘Reader’s Trust Award’ for the Best Instant Messaging Security Solution category.

The Barracuda Spam Firewall won the ‘Excellence Award’ in the Best SME Security Solution category, which was judged by a panel of 18 leading chief security officers from major corporations and large public sector organizations.SC Magazine readers also recognized the Barracuda Web Filter as a finalist for the ‘Reader’s Trust Award’ in the Best Web Filtering Solution category.
